Hello Downtowners,

credit: Tony Brown, EMSO
Welcome to this Downtown Week special
- a week-long celebration of business and culture in the city centre from
5-12 June 2005!
We have had a fantastic response so far this week -and we're only half
way through! So why not get downtown? Love Your City!
Yesterday evening's walking tour celebrating Quentin Hughes' downtown
attracting 60+ people, Kenyon Fraser's media training event for charity
was a sell-out, site sight's picnic-on-the-roof was packed, and our phone-in
on BBC Radio Merseyside provoked some good debate.
There's still plenty more to see and do - so visit www.downtownweek.info
for full listings and check out the highlights here. We look forward to
seeing you!
